Type of a scam Rental
We booked a rental car on a site named Economy Booking, which shares a name with Economy rental car agency located near FLL airport.
The booking document also had YORK rental car logo on the document, which also has a rental car agency located near FLL airport.
The actual car company that had our reservation was Next Car. The company that asked for my feedback was One Switch. All of these are active car rental companies.
Due to the mix-up, we missed our pickup window and were up-charged. We were also charged for insurance. We were made to think that we 'were lucky they even had any cars left'
Our confirmed booking price for a rental car went from just under $80 USD to $360 USD.
I believe this is a scam targeting captive customers who are tricked into doing business with one of the above companies.

These are all different companies that we dealt with, and only one actually had our car, and then they proceeded to upcharge us 600%.
