These e-mails appear as "Bethany Medical Clinic" under the name, and they also present themselves with the Bethany Medical Clinic header.
They then greet me as "Hello DO NOT BOOK," indicating I have already tried to be removed from their booking list.
The e-mail then proceeds to remind me of an appointment on a date I never booked. They also say there is a 24-hour cancellation deadline prior to the appointment.
No-show fees are listed as $40 for regular appointments and $75 for psychotherapy appointments.
In other words, if I don't catch this e-mail and try to cancel, I get the message that somehow I will be charged this fee.
The only way to reply back and cancel is to contact Bethany Medical directly. They consistently confirm there is no booking.
So the question now is...am I being charged? It is unknown. Nexhealth has no transparent means of communication - just a form on their website.
False information and abusive messaging like this is a scam. There's no other logical conclusion to draw here.
