Scammer called my business and told me they were with Newport News Utilities Virginia Power (no such entity). I asked them if they were with Virginia Dominion Power and they replied yes. He told me my power would be disconnected by 3:00pm if I didn't pay my delinquent bill. He told me I had never paid my security deposit and that I owed $995.36. I asked to speak to the representative's supervisor and I was transferred to a female who stated the same as above. She gave me specific instructions to go to the nearest Food Lion and to get pre-paid VISA cards. She gave me the number: 866-408-0315 to call her back and she gave me an alternate number 800-882-2091. I called her back and told her I was on to her scam and she hung up on me.
