I received a message regarding a data entry job for $27 hr and they texted me the next day and they said I got the job and they asked about my bank name because they will send me a check to buy office supplies and then I felt there is something wrong especially I only signed the offer letter so I looked up at the website history and the website was very new so I asked them what’s the CEO name and then I received no response from them since then

Asked for personal information and gave a job offer without an interview. Wanted to mail me a check to buy office equipment. Upon research it looks like the company closed in 2019.
