I was looking to purchase a Newfoundland puppy and came across Mark and Rita Newfie's website with puppies for adoption. After corresponding with Mark via text and email and completing the adoption questionnaire, we signed an adoption contract and agreed that Mark would arrange for the flight transportation of the puppy after I paid a deposit of $499. I paid the deposit via Zelle and then Mark responded that he would figure out the flight tomorrow. However, I did not hear from Mark until after making multiple attempts to contact him through text, phone, email, and his website. He continued to come up with delays until he had the funds. I never received the puppy or a refund.
