I reached out to this page in search of a Newfoundland puppy. They had pictures of beautiful puppies but no address, phone number, or email for inquires. I sent a private message asking for more information and they told me the puppies were for $1000 and would be shipped via flight cargo. I asked where they were located because I wanted to see what conditions the puppies were living in ( I don’t support puppy mills). They gave an address of a house that had been placed on the market the day prior in Indiana. I asked about payment methods and they mentioned Zelle. I asked for a proof of sale certificate and they stated that they would prepare the document after a payment had been received. I was going to make the purchase but after digging through their Facebook page, I noticed in one of their captions they mentioned the breeder name! I looked up the breeder. Turns out, the pictures and captions posted on the Facebook page are from a reputable breeder in Glasgow. Not even in the US. After messaging the legit breeder she said she knew of several people who had nearly been scammed by the fake page and had reported it several times.
