About 4 months ago for Christmas my mother in law Carol (Micki) Rumberg purchased an AMD CPU for my computer (I had sent my wife a link to the Newegg site/store) -- it failed in just 4 months and when I attempted to replace it AMD told me it was a potentially fake processor not sold outside of China. I tried to call Newegg and Senytech and both told me that 'it's past our 30 day return policy' and would not answer any questions about why I could not use the 3 year manufacturer's warranty. I've bought these CPUs for over 20 years and have returned 2 others via this process w/o problems, so this kinda shocked me. They also would not deny that the serial number on the processor was as AMD claimed, a Chinese not-for-export CPU or fake serial number.

There is no address, it is an online BBB Accredited Business powered by Google, SO, I don't know who is at fault here, Google or Newegg. After selecting shop to pay for the Think Pad, I get no where but this pic.......The pic will not copy/paste nor allow me to attach as an pic to you, but is of a plug of some sort for that same price NOT a Think Pad. What a SCAM!! Just wanted you to know what's out there by these big companies....hook, line and sinker, NOT to be had at all. I did not go forward with it. They can keep it.

Total price of advertised Lenovo Think Pad would have been $54.56 same as the select forward shopping insert plug or something, not the Think Pad. TRICKY!!!
