I received an invoice by postal mail at my business from a company calling itself NewAd Listing for an false "online premium listing" transaction which they claim took place on March 28 2016, in the amount of $489.95. The website doesn't exist (www.newadlisting.com). When I called the toll free phone number, the business name is not identified which is typical of scammers. I have no relationship with this company and I've not requested any service or product from them. I will not be paying this bogus invoice and I will report them to the FTC and possibly the FBI. The invoice shows the return address: 11325 Random Hills Road, Suite 360, Fairfax, VA 22030 but it was actually postmarked Albany NY which I find interesting because Albany NY is near Ontario Canada where a known business directory scammer is/was based. I do not have the piece of mail in hand this moment, but I'll resubmit the complaint tomorrow when I will be able to attach a copy of the fraudulent invoice.
