I was trying to access my Amazon prime account on a new tv and was told that I needed to pay a fee because my prime membership was outdated. I paid $109.99 by credit card to him which he said would appear as a payment to New Tech Prime Services. I was bothered buy the fact that less than a year ago I had paid a fee to “upgrade my prime account” of $151.54 to Uptech on June second 2021.

Upon inquiry to Amazon I was informed that it was a scam.

The man on the phone perpetrating the scam gave me his name and phone number as Ray Archer @ 866-674-8369. He very firmly told me not to call anyone about the matter at all saying he would call me back on Sunday.

I spent hours on the phone with him and at one point when I felt too overwhelmed to continue he shouted at me that I should stop thinking and just follow his direction. He was so aggressive that it made me cry and feel very upset for the rest of the day.
