I was looking for patio furniture on Facebook Marketplace and an advertisement from Wayfair showed discounted patio furniture, I read the reviews, the fine print and customer comments, they all seemed legitimate so I put in my order. Money was taken from my account with no confirmation email or delivery of items purchased. They claim 2-3 days delivery and it has been a week. I looked up the website attached to the funds extracted from my bank account and it does not have patio furniture nor a working phone number. I also noticed much of the same advertising allover Facebook Marketplace under big name stores such as Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco and others. I reported as many as I could to Facebook, unfortunately it seems "scamming" is all too commonplace these days!! I lost 100.00 and this is a hard lesson learned! Never again will I buy anything from Facebook marketplace ads!!
