Type of a scam Online Purchase

The scammer made a very convincing Shiba Inu dog breeding website that advertised as being part of the American Kennel Club (AKC). Was very quick to organize "shipping" for the dog and asked for a deposit immediately before offering to even check out the dog. Sent very convincing emails and texts confirming the purchase of a dog. Only accepted E-Transfer and Paypal by friends and family, likely to avoid the chance of refund when the person realized. This is really an emotional scam once you realize you won't get a furry friend.

I was so excited about a pet that I didn't really notice the signs like bad grammar and a re-used testimonial photo on the last page. newdawnshibas.com was pretty well made, but I didn't want to look. That's what also makes this so rough.
