I signed up with John. He quoted me 1700, and then charged me 3100 once my stuff was actually on the truck. All the other companies gave me honest quotes, He will lie to you to get you to sign up and then [censored] you over once your stuff is on the truck. He told me my move would arrive by April 9, 2020. My stuff is still not even in route, and nobody is able to tell me anything regarding when it will arrive. I have exhausted the entire directory. Mike, Marc, Alexander, Jason, Ken, John. Nobody will call me back. Their customer service is answered by somebody who knows absolutely nothing regarding when my stuff will actually be put on a truck and be in route. They have no ability to contact dispatch and and keep saying dispatch will call me. It's been 10 days since they picked up the stuff from my apartment and can't tell me when it will actually be in route. I don't even know what to do at this point. I have medication that I need on that truck. The amount of stress they have caused in my life. I am clear across the country waiting for their arrival and they have my entire life and can't even tell me when they are planning on putting it on truck. The lack of communication is insane, and the communication that I do get ends up being a lie time and time again. I am so incredibly stressed and I need my things. I have been sleeping on the floor waiting for a bed for 2 weeks now. Am I supposed to buy an entire bed just to throw it out when they decide to actually do the job I paid for. All customer service does is tell me "Dispatch will call you". That was 10 days ago. The only person I can get to answer is Kevin in the vehicle department. He said he talked to John and that John will text me. But that didn't happen. They are purposely ignoring me. New City Moving and Storage has made this not only the worst moving experience of my life, but one of the most stressful moments in my entire life. Everything that is of value to me is in some storage unit with no communication as to when or if it will ever get here! Every day is a headache trying to find answers.
