After getting accepted for the job, they said they wanted to send me a check to purchase the equipment for the job. When I asked if they could send me a debit card instead because I was not comfortable with depositing a check to purchase equipment into my account because of all the scams out there. The HR person replied a bit hostel to me saying that it isn’t a scam and they trusted me and I should trust them. There was no verbal communication it was all through Skype chat, which was my first red flag. The check was the clincher though. There is a real company with this name located in Australia and they have a NOTICE of WARNING on their website that scammers are fraudulently using their name.
