A man named Jonathan Penberthy approached our canyon community offering us internet service through his company, Neighborhood Networks. We have been desperate to have usable internet in our canyon for years and this man seemed legitimate. We checked the facts on him as far as we were able to find and they check out okay, several families gave him deposits, the amount adding up to several thousand dollars. He strung us along for nearly 2 years, saying that he was having to go through a lot of red tape but the internet service would be happening anytime.

Then, about a week ago, he took down his website, archived the Facebook page that was supposed to keep us informed, unfriended anyone that lived in our canyon area and disappeared with all our money. If anyone in Utah is ever approached by Mr. Penberthy, no matter what the company name, run the opposite direction as fast as you can. He's the music man, promising a band that he'll never deliver.
