Ordered a wig for my wife who is undergoing chemo. She picked out a wig from Needwig.com and I ordered it via my Chase Visa card. I should have known better. Tried steering her to Amazon but she didn't like the products available. Paid $275 plus $4.98 shipping. Transaction went through. Did not receive product so I tried writing them numerous times with no response. There was no telephone number given on their website. Finally, I decided to look this company up and found out it's located in China and is a scam. Yes, it sure is.

Called my credit card company and explained the situation. Chase Visa is tops in my book. They agreed to credit my account the full amount. Only other thing I can say is if you are buying off the internet, ALWAYS investigate the company prior to placing an order. With Amazon, there's no need. But with unfamiliar vendors or vendors for whom you've never done business with in the past - never skip this most important step in doing due diligence!

This company does not honor their return policy, I was not satisfied with their merchandise and want to return refund. The company stop corresponding with me period. The hair looks like crap, it looks like dog hair and this wig is not fit to be seen in

I ordered a wig from needwig at $145.00 and I requested to return the wig because the looks of it wasn’t fit to wear. It is terrible. The company do not honor their return policy. They ask me to send a picture of the wig even though that’s not a part of their return policy, I did send the picture. After that they stop corresponding at all about the order #31327245

Do not waste your time and money purchasing from Needwig. Firstly they are in China not the U.K. Poor quality not worth $5. They do not send return labels and claim it may get lost or cost too much money so please accept 5% refund. Yet they want me to take risk. Will be disputing Credit Card

I ordered Lace Front Wig Synthetic Brown Color Shoulder Length Layered Cut in Color 1B Size Average

I received a totally different wig. It is not as pictured! It is not layered, it is way too long and fuller than expected.

It is way too big for my head, so i don't think it is Average size. The color is a very dark black.

I am not satisfied with this purchase.

It looks really fake!

I emailed Needwig to tell them about it and that I wanted to return for a refund.

They asked me for a photo. I sent it to them.

They said that that is what I ordered and I have to keep it!

They do have return/refund policy.

The refund policy states that I can return it if: it is within 15 days from receiving it, unworn, unwashed, and original packaging which I qualify for all of them, but they refuse to give me a refund or allow me to return the wig.

I have also contacted my Credit Card Company to dispute this purchase.

They send you an inferior wig. You are guaranteed to be able to return wig if you are not happy. No phone number given. Fill out online return but you are unable to give reasons for return. You are immediately notified that you cannot send the paper work because your form is not filled out. Also you opened the package. Of course you opened the package. The package was NOT sent from NEEDwig the address is some foreign name you have never seen before. This package is very suspicious. Open the package and wig is wadded up in a small white plain mailer. The wig has a big seam sewn down the middle of the wig. I tried for hours to find a phone number on the internet to call customer service. NO PHONE. I realized I had been scammed. Notified my credit card company to dispute payment to these scammers. They are welcome to the return of the inferior wig.

I ordered a wig from Needwig.com. The pictures on their website are obviously not their own, ripped from the web of celebrities and other wig sites. It took over a month to receive the product and it wasn’t anything like what I had ordered. Very cheaply made, not even close to the style I ordered or the color I ordered. As a matter of fact, the color is brassy and awful! I didn’t even bother taking it out of the plastic bag it came in because I could immediately see that it wasn’t what I ordered. There was no recept included and no return address other than a facility in Ohio. I contacted them via emai as to how to proceed with a return because the form on their website asked for things that I didn’t have. They replied and kept asking for pictures. I sent the pictures. Their next response was to over me 20% of the cost and I keep the wig! They said their return address was a “remote location in China” and would be expensive to mail and would probably get lost. They told me that another customer said the cost would be $80 for shipping fees and it would be “ better for me” to keep it”. Funny that they charged $4.99 to ship it! I basically told them no deal and questioned their integrity, website and business practices. They eventually told me that I could return it but the shipping costs were on my side as well as a restocking fee providing the wig wasn’t damaged. Then states, “ Please find a shipper who will responsible for the clearance to return the package.

You can check with your local post office how much you need to return a product to China first. They then provided an address in China. Mind you, there is NO MENTION of China on their website.

Or will you consider my suggestion to give you some money as a compensation”.

I checked them out on scampulse and so far there have been 8 complaints against them including mine. Every complaint is similar to mine! All cheap wigs ( I use the word loosely, horrible color, not what they ordered and same scam! Now I’m worried because they have so much of my personal information!

I bought a wig from Needwig. After getting it in 4 weeks,I needed to return it. I couldn't get their address. I needed to fill out a form which I did. I didn't hear from them for a few days. When I did hear from them they asked more questions about the wig. After waiting a few more days, they wrote "Okay, send it to China" No other address.

I purchased a wig from Need wig.com & never received a confirmation number. I've tried multiple times contacting them & never heard anything back from them. I ended up having to call my bank about charges & yes they was taken out for wig yet no confirmation number after days of waiting & trying to contact them with no prevails. I ended up finding out after calling my bank a second time to find out they were actually baced out of London NOT the U.S.A. I tried googling for another email address & found out that Need wig is a scam company! Needless to say my bank is working on getting my $$$ back from the company. DO NOT buy a wig from Need wig.com

I bought one wig but it was totally fraud item. It was not the item on their website. It was bad quality, smell and especially bad customer service.
I contacted to them to return and refund but they have never replied after asking return address.

I paid $135.99 for this piece of crap. I ordered a wig with the same type of curls as my natural hair. I ordered a medium brown to match my own hair color. The pictures below show what I ordered and what I received in the mail yesterday. This wig would have been fine if I were going for the Raggedy Ann look. The quality is cheap and feels like a wig you would buy for a Halloween costume. There's no way I would wear this out in public..They should have sent me a big red nose to go along with it.

I agree with every other report.This company is a total scam. Even the email others received is identical the ones I’ve received. The wig I ordered also took a couple of months to get to me, no information, receipt included in the packaging, cheaply made, totally different from what I ordered. The color is horrendous! They offered me 20% of the total cost to keep with the same excuse being that the return address was” a remote location in China” and packages often got “lost”. They sent another email saying another customer said it would cost $80 to return it and it would be “better for me” to take their offer. $80? Then why was their shipping costs $4.99? You can guess the answer!

My daughter whom is a single mom of 3 bought from this so called company..well almost 200.00 dollers later and it took almost 2 months to get the so called wig ..IT WAS HORRIBLE CANT GET A REFUND NO RE3 NUMBER EXISTS...SO PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY..I JUST WISH I COULD GET MY DAUGHTERS MONEY BACK WE ARE BOTH HEART BROKEN AND I HAVE NO HAIR ...BUT GOD DONT LIKE UGLY...

These people are such scumbags165.98 later I am reporting it to my credit card company as fraudulent.They say they are based in London, but clearly another scam from China using locations in the US.

Product was NOTHING like it looked like online it was cheap and the color was horrible looked like a two year old made it. To top it off they don't want me to contact the bank as it would make ME look bad. They wanted me to send back to China we returned to Sender in California? DO NOT buy from the company

Dear Sir/Madam, I Purchased a hair wig from this company for $191.98. It took a month to receive it and the quality is a cheap piece of [censored]. I want to get a refund on my purchase and when I contacted them they said I would have to pay for the shipping to the UK! The package I received came from CNE Express 860 Foster Ave Bensonville, IL 60106. I believe this is not a legitimate company and I would like to find out how I can recover my money, or if I have been screwed. I am a cancer victim and I don’t need this on top of it. I’m losing my hair. Please help me and others who are getting robbed.

To whom it may concern,

I purchased a wig from an ad off my computer through [email protected]

Not being satisfied with fit and quality, I attempted to return it.

While in the process of filling out the return form, and the reason for the return, they asked for a RM3 number.

I could not find a RM3 number on any of their packaging, or their order form.

They never issued an RM3 number.

The order number on their order form is: Needwig-31318693.

The Date issued: April 12, 2021 at 4:54 PM.

No matter what reasons, I provided on their computer's return form,

the form stated it would not accept it without the RM3 number and would not allow me to continue any further on the return form.

I have tried to contact through email both:

the Hymax Co. Limited in England and Needwig with whom I placed the original order.

But as of today's date, May 14, 2021, no one has gotten back to me.

My patience and time for return are running out.

I was in the process of returning the wig to the address listed on the package: Zhao Meng 42-35 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11356

requesting they a credit my charge account, for a full cash refund.

But there was no provided documentation inside their package, which would help in assisting me in this wig's return for full refund.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide me in getting justice.

They show a photo of a wig that was what I ordered. The wig I received was nothing like the photo. Hair was all different lengths, unstyled, wrong color, wouldn't stay on my head. When I attempted to return it and get a refund they said that they were located in a remote part of China which was the first time that I knew that the wig was not made in the U.S. The address on the package came from an address located on Southern California. Once I realized what was happening I inspected the package more closely, it was clear that a new shipping label had been applied over the original label. Making it appear that the wig had come from Los Angeles. California. Deceiving the where about this company was located. They aren't willing to refund the money I have spent. And keep trying to get me to accept a small refund. First it was 12% $18.00 than 20% $23.00 and now $30. After 23 emails they are still saying that it cost them $120 to make the wig and that $30 was all they could afford to refund. Which is stupid, no company could continue to operate and stay in bussiness 0If that were the case.This company is fraudulent and deceptive. It is a sham. The website is not legit. Stay away from this company. They are not legit wig company. Everything about this company is untrue.

This website is selling wigs that they don't have. It appears they have ripped photos from celebrities and other wig websites. The merchandise that was sent to me is nothing of what was represented on their website. When I tried to return the false merchandise, they said that Hong Kong was too far away for me to ship the packages to and that I should just accept some money as compensation for the non-wearable wigs they sent me (which weren't on their website or what was ordered). They have a liaison in California that had completely repackaged and shipped the fraudulent merchandise to me, so that there were not previous address labels of origin from China. These packages came from California. They are selling things that they do not have. What they do have that they are shipping is not a usable item. It is a horrible scam to rip photos from other wig companies and from celebrities or hairstyle magazines and sell them to people. This company does not actually poses these wigs.
