I spoke with a representative for NCE company and on. I gave him my postal code, in which the representative put me on hold and returned, saying he had good news that the hospitals and physicians in my city accept this insurance.

The representative reassured me that I would have no out of pocket expenses for labs, x-rays, co-pay for physicians, which was affordable, and out of pocket for hospital visits, dental, vision, and wellness checkups.

There was a 30 day waiting period; I had peace of mind when the call ended that I finally had insurance after a two-year lapse. Also, the insurance policy is a sister company of Blue Shield of California. I knew with the premium as affordable as the quote; most likely, a CAP on coverage would exist.

The information withheld from me from this insurance is that this does not have Major Medical, Comprehensive Health Coverage, and is not a minimum requirement under the Affordable Care Act. I have no medical insurance, and NCE has my $517.00.

I think the Federal Government should criminally charge this group.

I was online looking for insurance and received a call from this company which they proceeded to inform me they cannot say they are an insurance company however they supply the same coverage as an insurance company. When I received the packet it stated that this program is a discount program and not insurance therefore doesn't satisfy the government requirement for insurance. When I called to cancel person on phone was rude and kept trying to tell me they were insurance and asked if I have insurance. Have cancelled and waiting for refund.

I thought this was insurance and it is not. It’s a discount program for a large group of people. They compared this to BCBS. I signed up paid 183.86 and then canceled. Was told I would get my money back into my checking. Never received they keep changing my cancelation date and saying it will be 7 to 10 days. Also another months charges came on my bank statement my bank stopped payment on that. I hadn’t even used the first payment because we still had Aetna until December 31,2017.
