Received a call twice from an older scratchy sounding voiced woman of Caucasian Orient, claiming she was contacting me or whomever the number was for (no name left and mine wasn't used); trying to solicit for a volunteer to assist with greeting at a voting center. I called back before receiving that message the second time and got no answer. That same number showed up again but a message was left. I called again after checking the area code that identified it as being from NC. I spoke with above mention and said twice that I wasn't interested and that I wasn't in NC. She claimed she had a list of registered Democratic voters and that it said that the person she was looking for was registered and that they were from NC. note: I never gave my name nor verified my phone number but she insisted and I said again that I was not there and that she should take me off her list. She claimed she would - interesting because she never asked for the name of the person she was talking to and went on to act like she was shocked that her list was wrong. This isn't the only time they tried this scam or phishing ploy - they tried it back in 2020 before I moved through the mail and they stole phone numbers from that stupid central phone bank that some crooked guy showed up pitching a sale during a safety meeting at the Mayor's office - the took citizen's numbers that they saw were small business owners and put them in some illegal database all because they heard of some Federal contracts coming to the State of MS and have been harassing me every since - they actually started before that meeting. The number appearing was (919) 234-2555.
