NBN Advanced Logistics Reports & Reviews (4)

i responded to an ad on facebook advertising a honda goldwing trike for sale, After contacting Stacey Miller, she informed me that the bike had belonged to her late husband and that it had been moved to NBN logistics and prepared for shipping by them. She explained that the money was to be wired to a bank in escrow. The money would be held there as a neutral party in escrow. She would have the bike shipped to me at her expense. I would have 5 days to inspect and test the bike. If I accepted the bike, I would notify NBN and the money would be released to her. If I didn't want the bike, i would be shipped back to her. I wired the money and a date for delivery was set> It was due to arrive on February 28th. That day came and went and nothing arrived. My phone calls and emails that had previously been answered promptly, went unanswered. They have a considerable amount of my personal information.

Consumer called ScamPulse.com of MN and ND public info line. Found vehicle listing on https://jevansvehi.com/, began communicating with "seller." "Seller" asked consumer to wire $15,000 to fraudulent shipping / escrow company 'NBN Advanced Logistics,' claiming to be located in Hartford, CT. ScamPulse.com advised caller *not* to proceed with purchase, as situation had all the 'red flags' of a fraudulent shipper / escrow site -- e.g., website just registered 2 weeks ago, no such business registered with CT Secretary of State, etc.

Private seller of motor vehicle using fake escrow and logistics company to sell vehicles that don’t exist in order to get personal information.

I responded to a used vehicle posting on Facebook which I can no longer find. The advertisement had the email from above which I inquired about the vehicle and received a response from the apparent vehicle owner "Jessica Mitchell". She mentioned that her husband died recently and that the vehicle was giving her bad memories which is why she was selling it below market value. I indicated that I was interested but would need to know where it was located to see if it was worth traveling to based on distance. She then responded that she was no longer living at home due to recent throat surgery and was now living with her daughter away from the vehicle. Jessica then said the vehicle was with a shipping/ escrow company and they would truck it to me free of charge to test drive for 5 days, if I didn't like the vehicle it would be shipped back at her expense but assured me that would not be the case. From here I asked for the VIN number, she indicated that that shipping/ escrow company had the vehicle and all associated paperwork. Becoming more suspicious I began investigating the website and found it to only be a few days old with its domain being from Iceland not Harford Connecticut. Luckily I never transferred any money.
