When I demanded my number be taken off list, I was hung up on. When I stated I’d contact bbb and an attorney I was hung up on. The kicker…. I DO NOT HAVE A STUDENT LOAN!

I got several calls from someone claiming to be from Navient but from an office in TN. They didn't ask for any money, but did ask for my personal information, what college I went to, info about my loans, and my log in access for the Navient website. I noticed some red flags so I ended the call with that person, and called the actual Navient office. They said they don't have an office in TN.

Voicemail from Lisa freedman agent id# 1138 stating that shes following up with me regarding the recent navient lawsuit filing and my student loan was accepted into the settlement entitling me up to 90% loan forgiveness but I have to call back before my entitlement period ends with my code to 8004106311

In googling the phone number for Navient Student Loans, this is the phone number that populated in the google search engine. In calling the number, the Representative Issah asked for my name, date of birth and social security number in order to pull up my student loan. Immediately after obtaining the information he hung up on me. I called back thinking we got disconnected and went through the same process. After I provided my information, the other Representative hung up on me again. I immediately searched through my records to obtain a different phone number for Navient. When I spoke with the Navient Representative, they informed me that the phone number I initially called was a fraudulent phone number. Be ware!

They then texted "you've agreed to receive messages from FSA Help Center. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. LYING telemarketer The text came at 7:48 pm Aug 18, 2020!!!!
