They deleted their Facebook page because of all the bad reviews being left. The owner told me I could have my deposit back since I never signed an agreement with them. I said great and thought about it for a few days and inquired on the puppy pictures he promised me he would personally go take last we spoke. No response. So I messaged, “it’s not working out, let’s just refund me the deposit and we can go our different ways”. He called 1 min later cussing me up a tree and telling me how I’m not ever going to get my money back. I told him I then wanted pictures of the pups as he promised and when they will be 8wks old and he hung up. I then messaged asking for pictures and also when the pups would be 8wks old for pickup, no response. I paid a premium to have first pick of the litter. I was never called and told when they were born, I never got pictures they promised me and lastly, I was never called to purchase the pup once they got to being 8 weeks old. Never heard from them period. Once this happened to me, I googled their outfit and saw other negative reviews about him in the past exactly like mine. He will call and cuss at you and he will keep your money and you get no dog

NSR told me I could have my deposit back since I never signed an agreement with them. Two days later when I inquired about it the owner cussed me up a tree and told me I’d never get my money back and he misspoke 2 days before. Stay away. Bad people and scammers

Do not use these people at all and find a dog or training facility elsewhere. They will cuss at you on the phone if you have your own thoughts and you don’t want to do as they tell you. Pathetic people and they go back on their word often and give empty promises. Bad experience, stay away.

NSR is the best ! Hands Down !

My name is Tim Galloway, we had an amazing experience with Wilford at Natural State Retrievers he showed us around his property his KENNELS were very professionally built and very clean. NSR retrievers are taken care of very well. We were very very impressed with ROUXGA his stud dog this is an amazing animal. he took us to his facility training grounds and showed us how he trains his dogs l. Such a great experience the grounds were phenomenal along with his kennel and training program and staff. Wilford even invited us inside his home to meet his family and personal dogs he keeps inside. He housed several clients dogs and personal labs he owns in his home all were very organized and mannered very well. by the looks of thing and how he raises his children and his dogs He is an amazing person ! all the dogs were well cared for and well mannered very obedient. We bought our puppy from him and left it with Wilford at Natural State Retrievers for training for over eight months we received our male Labrador Retriever just this past month his name is Diesel We couldn’t be more pleased how he turned out he is amazing in his obedience and a great retriever Wilford did such a wonderful job with his training we are more than satisfied and pleased With Wilford training and his prices his prices were fair he treated us with Kindness and courtesy and we established a great relationship with an NSR and Wilford We will definitely be buying another lab retriever in the future from him.

I had an excellent experience with NSR. I drove from SE Oklahoma to their home. I met their retiring female lab breeder and their up and coming Rouxga. He was a beautiful boy. I paid no more than what I see other credible lab breeders ask for. They sent me home with food they had her on and all of her shot records. Tonks is the smartest dog I've ever had and she is beautiful, perfect lab features. I intend to get a male from NSR when we're ready. With the above “ FLASE “ and untrue statements And remarks that were made about myself and my Kennel I would like to come onto this forum and clear my good name and my kennels good name. As I have nothing to hide...

In response to Mr. DCG 60, I say this ...you were very unprofessional, And you’re handling of the situation was disgusting and very unprofessional. You called my personal cell phone and not only cussed me, but my Buissness partner with multiple cuss words and very disrespectful and yelling at one point which forced me to disregard our call, as no one will speak to me in that manner, I have these recordings saved and documented along with letters showing that you apologized for cussing us out. I have emails and a personal letter you sent where you apologized for cussing us out and using profanity, and yelling. I refuse for any person to cuss me or treat me or my staff in that manner no matter how upset you are. We explained to you in the beginning several times depots the situation that we will take care of you in every way possible, but that was not good enough for you. With the contract that you signed through our kennel, you were bound to that contract legally and our agreement signed by you. You sir, decided that you were going to back out of the contract, and in our contract it states that any time a client backs out the contract For any and all reasons the contract would be then null and void and terminated and no money would be refunded. We explained this to you several times and you were unsatisfied with our response and have since contacted you and offered to refund you the full amount you paid for the training, not the puppy as you were told if you did not fulfill the contract that you agreed to we would be forced to only refund the amount you paid in training as this is why we take deposits and sign contracts. I explained to you our terms and you said you did not want the refund you want to puppy. I then explained to you that with the contract that you signed, in the body of the contract it stated that at any time if the client breaks or backs out of the contract and not complete or Fulfill your end of the contract all monies paid would be forfeited and the contract would be terminated and considered Null and void.

We cannot break our contract due to your unforeseen circumstances unfortunately if we did this we would have to do this for everyone and our contract would be worthless and you were made aware of this, but you then proceeded to call and harass several of my other clients, as one client In particular called me and said that it was becoming harassment and he was ready to call the authorities and that you were saying very untruthful lies regarding my self and my kennel and he needed to let me know ASAP I have his information his statements and also emails and a letter from him saved that is with my attorney for further use if needed. The 2 clients That you contacted both told me on several occasions that it was becoming harassment and unprofessional and they needed you to stop Texting and calling them at once one of the clients told you personally this but you continued to harass him.

As me and my Kennel stated to you we are willing to refund you the amount of money you paid for training unfortunately with the breaking of contract we will not be able to refund the amount that you paid for the puppy as stated in our contract this is to secure and protect ourselves from similar situations if they arise. After Much deliberation we realize that you owning one of our retrievers is not the best interest for our retrievers so with that being said and looking out for the best interest of our retrievers we feel that at this time selling you a puppy would not be in the best interest of our dogs. But refunding your cost you paid for training will be our only option.

We have stressed this to you that there is a refund process and this is done through our financial institution and as soon as your refund is processed you would be informed and a email will be sent, but you’ve been very unprofessional and it’s been very hard to communicate with you to get you to understand this process as all Buissness have a process when it comes to refunds as do we. And in your response to our offer you’ve denied and only stated you prefer a puppy and as we explained that option is not available.

Never once at any Did I say even better I will give you a puppy what was said was in our contract it states if something happens to a puppy we will not refund money only Replace the puppy with one of equal value and if training was paid for replace the dog of equal training. But the contract that was originally signed must not be broken. When we received words that you did not want to fulfill the contract. And only wanted the pup, this breaks the contract that we signed, and leaves our hands tied on other options to resolve the issue.

Furthermore If you drove down 2 days later and we’re not impressed with our set up or Kennel staff and personnel then why on earth would you still pursued to keep the contract and want a puppy if we were so unprofessional so our Kennel and our staff were not what you were looking for ? On that day sir I offered you a full refund and your exact words were " no I’m very impressed with your professionalism and your retrievers and that you were excited to continue Buissness with us and our kennel, I’ve got bird boys and witnesses to vouch for this. For you to state otherwise is down a right lie ! I mean if it were me and I was unhappy and I didn’t like what I saw I would have requested and or accepted the offer of a refund that day ? I’m flabbergasted at the way you are trying to play the innocent sheep but you sir are a sheep in wolves clothing.

As far as communication we did make you aware of the new litter born and agreed to replace the puppy that was lost due to very unfortunate circumstances that were confirmed by our licensed veterinarian and we also let you speak to her personally and she gave her professional opinion on the situation and explained to you that it was totally out of anyone’s control with the unforeseen circumstances that surrounded the unfortunate death of the pup that you owned and even a licensed veterinarian couldn’t explain the circumstances and said it was of natural causes and our kennel had nothing to do with the untimely death of that pup and you even told her you understood and knew that it was out of our control and you were still satisfied with doing Buissness with us and wanted to continue with the contact and training. All this and more is documented not only through us but a licensed veterinarian clinic. We made you fully aware of the situation and kept you informed every step of the way. So your accusations are complete utter lies and false and slanderous and the defamation of the character of myself and my kennel and staff is very unprofessional and confusing!

Our pups are of the best of bloodline and breeding this is why we sell our retrievers for $1,500 and again your skirt around true facts of the contract as we sold you your puppy for $1,200 at and discounted price and included training in the overall contract and worked with you on the overall price because you stated that you could only afford a certain amount and never requested that you pay in full that we would work with your with installments to help out in your situation trying our best to help you out sir, this and all the contacts are documented and texts and emails of the true situation not the false lies you have posted to this site.

The reasons we have chosen to refund the training portion of your contract is that you sir broke the contract and backed out of our agreement. And the Cursing and way you thought you could big boy myself and kennel staff was totally unacceptable and yes I refuse to communicate with someone who chooses to cuss us out and yell over the phone the recording don’t lie neither does the letter and emails you sent personally apologizing for your language and behavior. It’s like this if you go to Walmart and purchase a product and it fails you have a limited amount of time to receive a refund and there are policies and contracts in place that both parties have to abide by in order to fulfill the refund. If you go in any business cursing them out and yelling and demanding things in a unprofessional manner of course you will be most likely escorted off the premises by the law and or Buissness personnel and your business with that company will be through and you will not receive the refund your request let alone another product, I’m sorry that’s life and that’s how it is. We are still offering you a refund of the training portion that you paid back and unfortunately can no longer have you as a client nor do we feel that our pup would be in a safe environment after the outrageous comments you made and threats and how you acted over the phone towards our staff and feel it best that you go elsewhere for a retriever, as we feel that our pups and retrievers will not be safe in your home and compatible with your anger issues and behavior.

Yes we certainly do have attorneys on stand by as does every legitimate business in America because of situations like these, and of course I refuse to Personally speak to you after how I was spoken too ever the phone by yourself and how unprofessional you acted and I refuse to be treated or talked to in that manner.

As far as us not contacting you and blocking you that’s Absurd and again more lies we have a business phone and email for a reason fell free to contact that number anytime and our office staff or myself will get back to you in the most timely fashion possible but contacting and harassing our personal cell phones and other clients will never be Tolerated now nor ever. There is a professionalism that needs to be established with yourself and the way you went about this sir is unacceptable.

As far as our Facebook account,
Facebook has certain pet sites that there site allows and according to Facebook sales of animals is not allowed and after much deliberation they decided as they have done several animal breeders and companies that use Facebook as a means of sales they made us aware that we could still use the Facebook page to county to promote the dogs but no sales could be made we felt that the best interest of our kennel was to accept Facebooks terms and remove the site ( not by our choice but Facebook rules of animal sales and sites. So again you state false statements acting like we have something to hide if I had anything to hide in wouldn’t be addressing you personally on this site to give the “ TRUTH “ of the matter and not the false lies you’ve stated on this platform.

Not once have we denied your refund and our professional communication but again if you cannot conduct yourself in a professional manner we are forced by your actions to cease further communication and business.

I hope this clears this up and the TRUTH of facts will be seen and not the disgraceful lies that have been posted on this site by you.

We have hundreds of clients that will testify of our professionalism and the amazing kennel staff we have and how we go out of our way to provide the working class person the opportunity to own one of our amazing retrievers.

We were in negotiations with Williford for a couple of months with him texting and emailing pictures of dogs. He sent us a contract for a specific Chocolate lab. We signed and paid the $3500 fee for the dog and his training. When the time came to pick him up, Williford had excuses as to why we could not pick up the dog. This started in September 2020, again in November 2020 the dog was not ready. In January 2021 Williford became very aggressive with his tone and actions towards the dog. He refused to send pictures of the dog which is a part of the contract. When pressured to see or pick up our dog, he refused and stated that we would get a refund in 30 working days. He put this in a text message. As of this point we have still not received our refund and he refuses to respond to any forms of communication.

I bought Tonks 1 year ago, she is out of Jake's Sadie and Meiers Lil Mack...she is beautiful. Currently in school to learn obedience and deer tracking. With the facebook page down how may I get in contact with you for a future male pup out of Rouxga?

To whom it may concern, 

It has been brought to my attention that there was a post on the internet that has false allegations and claims regarding harsh and abusive treatment of my Labrador Retrievers. After reviewing the post myself, I’m appalled at the false statements that have been made regarding myself and my kennel. There is no truth to these statements and for this to even be posted is disgusting. I explained that we are working on refunding your money and we had all reasons to refund you your $3,500.  I've had a surgery and have been out of the office with that issue and that was out of my hands, our office manager is working diligently on putting together  everything to refund your money, she and Trent have been swamped and are working diligently to get everything that surrounds your contract and all this mess prepared and processed. I explained it will take just a tad longer then expected to process the refund, I've not been untruthful with you and I've not said that your not getting refunded, I've been honest and upfront and kept you informed regarding this situation. As to your threats and harassment and slanderous remarks and the defamation of character, of me and my person, this will cease now. If you continue to cyber Harass me, my kennel and good name and make threats and continue with the treats of cyber bullying this will also stop today. I do hope I'm making myself very clear here sir !   

The contract was for a Seasoned retriever and Murphy was not finished with his training as I've made you very aware of this several times by phone and text. Some dogs just don't make the duck dog program and with his complications he didn't make it as a duck dog in our program. In the training I informed you that he was showing signs of difficulty due to not understanding and this is common with some duck dogs and that Murphy needed more time and evaluation, and  after my professional evaluation, Murphy was not able to complete the duck dog Seasoned program, and after much examination and deliberation of him with him progressing slower when he was being trained for you and with additional examinations he was unable continue in the duck dog program. This had nothing to do with the way we train our retrievers and or any of our training techniques we use daily on our retrievers. We spend much time with each dog and take our time and evaluate there progress daily there Health and physical structure and temperament and overall behavior and spend several hours of individual time working with each retriever on training and addressing things needed to make them a great duck dog. As I’ve stated in defense of our Kennel and training program and my personal Name,I nor any employee including myself in no way shape or for nor in past or present or future have ever used aggression or loud verbal corrections or harsh physical or verbal communications with any retrievers at our kennel at any time this includes Murphy and all of our retrievers and as you’ve stated so- slanderously that " Wilford became very aggressive with his tone and actions with the dog “ this sir is a down right lie and false statements and slanderous remarks and defamation of my character and will not be tolerated. And I demand for these false statements to be recanted and taken down immediately! As to your other statements, I never refused to send pictures and videos, I sent several pictures and videos many times and also made contact my phone, texts and email. You were made very aware of Murphys progress and I explained numerous times he was progressing slowly and showing signs of not being able to complete the Seasoned duck dog program, I spoke to you about this over the phone and through text. I have all the evidence and documentation to prove this, I also explained after receiving a letter from your wife’s lawyer that I was unhappy with the lack of communication from you and that form of using a lawyer to bully me to rush Murphy in his training and push him and respond to you using legal threats. At that point forward our communication should Solely be between you and I and not your wife who did not sign the contract and had nothing to do with our Buissness. Again she continued to Harass and threaten me and my kennel, at this point I decided with the delay of Murphy’s training due to his lack of drive and not being able to complete the Seasoned Duck Dog program and lack of understanding and his confusion that refunding your Money was our only option.  When I evaluated Murphy further he seemed to be slower and not as enthusiastic as he was in the beginning of his training, as some duck dogs just sometimes do not make the cut and future decisions on his career would have to be made at a later day. Again " no harsh or very aggressive tone and or actions with the dog were used, we used the most professional training with Murphy and never once used excessive force or training with Murphy or any dog that has ever been at our kennel.  Murphy just didn’t show signs that he could complete the training that you all paid for and I will never force a dog to train that does not show the drive and skills needed to complete the task ahead of him as I look out for the dog first and foremost.  With all this being said and For these reasons he would not be a dog that I can allow to be placed in a hunting home and or any home for that matter until future evaluation had been professionally done. 

As stated in my contract I have the sole rights and ownership to Murphy and am the soul decision maker when it comes to placing a retriever in the right environment and home for the best of our dogs and I feel in my professional opinion that, your home and the line of work he was purchased for would not have worked out best for Murphy , I'm not concerned with what's best for you or I only what's best for Murphy and his future. He would not have made it as a duck dog and would not have be suitable for a home until further training and evaluation was done. I'm looking out for my dogs not you at the end of the day. And I'm sorry if your not satisfied with my professional opinion I've been doing this for 15 years and am a National Certified Animal Control officer and have taken numerous classes and have passed state and National bars on animal behavior and psychology and I know dogs better than people and the match would not have worked for Murphy and you all and the line of work you purchased a dog for is not suitable for Murphy nor do I believe that he could have fully preformed the task demanded of him. This is my professional opinion. 

With all this being said :

Eugene this is the main reason I'm issuing you a refund. With everything that has went on during the course of our correspondence I feel it necessary to end and terminate our contract and relationship here and further, as I will not be threatened and or harassed and sent shrude texts with threats and slanderous remarks and defamation of my character and cyber bullying and false statements on the internet any longer. The cyber bullying that has continued will cease today sir, and the statements that have been made need to be recanted and taken down from any and all websites. My lawyers have been made aware of this situation and are on standby to see if you will take the proper actions to resolve my concerns. If these statements and remarks are not removed I will be forced to counter your statements with a lawsuit for defamation of character and Slander and Cyber bullying and citing remarks that are very very untruthful and flat out lies. 

your lack of understanding and impatience and being very difficult to deal with and your wife threatening me and involving herself in a contract that was solely between you and I and the threats from your wife and the letters I received from her lawyer and now the cyber harassment Is unacceptable and this will be the last time I send out a email from me the next steps will be litigation. 

 in our contract we state that at anytime that the duck dog has any issues with the retriever and or client we have the sole right to terminate the contract and issue a refund. 

I hope that we can resolve these issues in a professional manner and have no need for litigation, and no further legal actions will need to be taken and your false and slanderous statements will be deleted at once.

I can relate to your comment on NSR. I gave them 2500.00 for a pup with some training in late October and they called early November and said the puppy had some health issues and put him down. He told me he would give back the money or better than that they are breading there best 2 bloodline dogs and I get the pick of the chocolate male. I drove down there 2 days later and definitely wasn’t impressed with the whole setup. Told him that I would take the #2 pup. I spent weeks trying to communicate and I got nothing back from either. Discovered from a friend that the pups where born but they still wouldn’t answer me. Finally I called the references he gave me and explained my situation and they then volunteered to call to see if anything was wrong. He called me on another phone line and talked to me like a dog! When it was my time he hung up. I called back and tried to find out how I’m to pick out the pup and when then he proceeded to tell me that I harassed his clients (not true-ask them)along with backing out of the contract which I never had along with that pup died. He told me that I can contact the president of the United States,akc,and anyone else but it won’t matter because he has an attorney and I’m done-no pup or money. Since then I sent a certified letter stating that he can keep the 2500.00 (which he was selling pups for 1500.)all I want is the dog. No response back along with Willford and Trent has blocked me since.Noticed today from a couple of friends that they have removed everything from Facebook.
Not good!
They aren’t even close to being a amateur breeder/trainer!
Don’t believe a word they tell you and save your time and money!
