My husband and both if my sister's were contacted over the course of 2 days. I called and the lady Nicole told me that it was a loan that my father supposedly had defaulted on in 2005. He is 81 years old barely making it on his social security. She seemed so sympathetic and I asked about limitations and said there were none. I researched and the longest they can go is 6 in NY state. It has been 14 years and the loan was paid.
