Someone calls to imitate they are with national student loan help center and they expressed themselves as they're going to assist you with your student loan yet they say they are from Nelnet, Navient and/or Sallie Mae. Be careful because they will ask how much do you owe and that is how they're able to "assist you". When I called the number back which was a local number that number was disconnected. To apply for loans via FASFA some are being asked to know your actual loan amount and this is what they are fetching for which will access a lot of things on your behalf once you give them that information. Just be careful student loans Grant (which we know you don't pay back) any type of loans those are attached to your social security number.
