National Portfolio Services debt collection agency has called me to inform me that I have been made a person of interest for check fraud. The company to who I owed money to, I contacted personally and they told me who they deal with in collections. It's not this company. I called the man back that called me and left a message. I never got a return call so I called again and was told he no longer worked there and that it was a good thing I called when I did because it was the last day I had to contact them before I was served with papers. I did give them my prepaid debt card info and they are supposed to take out the payment on Friday but after reading the reviews on the company and also finding out the information from the actual company that I owe the money to, I will not be making that payment. I have not received any letters or emails from this company at all. Just a phone call.
