I kept getting calls and messages from 1-844-730-6805 about a credit card, Merrick Bank. She had my account number and she said they were getting ready to take me to court if I did not respond. I spoke with Rebecca Garcia Ext 129. She said she could take a one time payment over the phone but if not, I would be sued. She also said that my account would be paid in full and cleared off my credit report. I got scared and paid. She gave me a case # 96205 and an authorization # 027677. A letter came this week from Merrick Bank with another one time pay off offer and I realized something was wrong. I called my bank and they are gonna try to do some research on this transaction. I have called the number and all I get is a busy signal.
