I received a letter and check for $4218.23 in the mail asking me to participate as a mystery shopper. The plan was that I deposit the check and withdraw money to use to evaluate a Walmart money transfer service and a Money-Gram Services. I chose to ignore this. About a week later, I received a second letter and a check for $2,400 asking me to do the same thing. The letter was in a different format and didn't have any company name or contact information. That same day I started to get text messages asking if I had received the letter. I chose to ignore.
