On 8/10/2021 at 5:44pm, I received a call from a woman (Albert Smith emp JMC90335) stating they were returning my “contact” to receive Social Security Disability (SSD). Caller I’d identified as Staten Island (1 718 524-3001). I had a message earlier 9:39am the America’s morning from them Staten Island (1 718 524-3002), leaving a message that they were returning my call for SSD. I was going to call them back, thinking someone had inverted numbers & may be missing their follow up call. So you can only imagine my surprise when they asked to speak with me, and provided my full name. I advised the woman, it was not me, I did not apply nor inquire about SSD. She then asked, well do you have any disabilities? Is there some physical reason you cannot work? I advised her, I will not answer any of these questions, these are a violation of my privacy, HIPA violations, as well as soliciting to add people to SSD is against the law. She said she was an advocacy group to help people & that I. Must have contacted them on their website. She wouldn’t give me her employee # until she offered me her supervisor. I advised I was going to ScamPulse.com over this illegal scam.
