I received a call from a number that my provider (Republic Wireless) had identified as a potential scam. I answered the call. The gentleman who answered asked if I had dental insurance and when I went to the dentist (he had a very strong Indian accent, which does not mean it is a scam but does cause me to be suspicious). He then handed me over to a woman who tried to talk about her dental plan. When I told her I had dental insurance, she tried to sell me vision insurance. I asked for their website, and she gave that to me. The website does not have the features of an insurance provider, so I then proceeded to end the conversation. She also told me that she was calling from Florida, but could provide insurance for medical, vision, and dental for the whole country.
