I received a missed call from this number so I decided to call the number back and without me giving them any information, they knew my name and address and they said that a lawsuit has been filed against me and told me to listen to what they had to say without interrupting and basically said how I owed them money and I needed to pay a certain amount and I would be facing possible jail time also and were speaking in legal terms. As soon as the lady finished speaking (Indian accent I believe), I asked "How do I know if this is a legit thing?" and within a few seconds they hung up on me. I called back a few times and a man first answered but mumbled something then hung up and when I called yet again it went to a voicemail after a few rings.

This guy called and left me a voicemail stating he was with the National Credit Bureau, they are taking me to court and I am going to be arrested. When I called him right back, I was talking to the same person and he said he didn't know anyone with my first name that he just called. He wanted personal information and when I asked if it was a scam, he replied "Why would you think that". He never would say what he wanted, He said he had to have my personal information to look up why I was called first. After I told him several times he wasn't getting my information, he got really rude and hung up on me. I then called the real Credit Bureau. They said they would never harass their customers and would never leave voicemails like that.

This number had called me, they left a very nasty voicemail stating in that if I didn't return their phone call I was going to be arrested. I returned the phone call lady said she was from the National Credit Bureau and I had to pay them a large amount of money or there would be warrants out for my arrest. And they just kept threatening me.
