I received a call on July 30, 2018 from a person telling me I could get free back and knee braces as well as pain cream thru medicare at no cost to me. I gave them no information but did confirm my phone # and address that they already had. They asked my height and weight then told me to wait for 2 phone calls in the next 48 hours. One from a doctor and one from a pharmacy. They said after that the package would be sent UPS and arrive in 7-10 days. I was suspicious so I went online and found articles warning of scams exactly like this. I then called *** who is my medicare carrier and asked if they had any record of these braces being ordered. She said no and explained to me the correct way to go about getting the braces if I wanted them. I needed a script from my doctor. I called the place back and cancelled my order without any problems.
