I saw an ad on Facebook from several companies offering a countertop ice maker. Cuvstore.com offered the cheapest. I paid the amount and waited almost 9 days before my order arrived. The tracking information stated it had been left in my mailbox. The item delivered was the scoop for the ice. I contacted the company and was told that is what I ordered. My total order came to $28 and all I got was a scoop. When I told them their ad clearly states ice machine they admitted that was wrong and they "were trying to do better". I have requested a full refund but they are trying to say they have to recoup the shipping costs of $7.99 so I can't get a 100% refund. I also requested a shipping label and I would return the scoop but they refused and said I have to pay the shipping costs .....BACK TO CHINA!!!! This company is obviously in China and there is nothing here in the US for people to get in contact with the company and even the phone number is in China. This is a fraudulent company that falsly advertises something that is clearly not what you get and will do whatever not to give a refund. I can't even get the ScamPulse.com involved because they don't do companies outside the US. I'm sure I will have to forego the refund but I will do what I can to make sure others know about this company.
