I had been married to my husband for 8 years but never changed my last name to his due to military reasons. I am not transition and retiring from military and start researching on how to do and came across this link with "org" at the end. I trusted the site and provided $47 via credit card hoping that it would indeed change my last name.

After I paid, the link actually just provided resources and list of areas and address that needs to be updated once you changed your name such as Social Security office, passport, and other agencies such as credit card and driver's license etc.

That is a very large amount of money they charge for something that I can do myself . Their webiste is very misleading
