Pet Scam via the website called: nailasheltiehome.com. The scammer lists shetland sheepdogs (shelties) for sale out of Columbus, Ohio. He list the puppies being 11 weeks old and is willing to ship for $850. Since I lived within a few hours, I asked to pick-up the puppy, which he text he would charge $700 for. The addressed he provided was ************************ (Unknown if this person is aware that their address is being used for a scam). The phone number that texts were conducted through was a Columbus, Ohio phone number (***-***-****). The email that he used to send additional pictures of the dog (Lolla) was [email protected]. The name he used as the breeder was James and the Zelle user name email address he provided was ***************@yahoo.com. He also provided other zelle email user names under *******@yahoo.com. After I realized I was scammed, I looked further into other websites and stumbled across the website lovelybordercolliepupshome.com, which is another one of his alias to scam potential buyers. He uses the same jargan on both websites just different types of dog breeds. The scammer will ask you to zelle a deposit of $500 to reserve the puppy. Please be careful if any of this information looks familiar. My advice, ask to see the puppy in person before exchange of money and definitely do not send money to have the puppy shipped. Once he has your money, he will not return texts or phone calls.
