Type of a scam Rental
I got a response by text, then an email. He says his name is Nahathirath Denepy. He said he will rent the house, but was selling the house, but would rent if he found a tenant. He said he lives in GA. I completed a rental questionnaire with my number, address, employment, mother's address, and returned it to him. He replied this morning that he was satisfied with my profile and that he could trust me. He said that in order to view the house, I would have to mail him a $610 deposit. Upon receipt, he would overnight the key to me. I drove by the house and there is a for sale sign in front. I called the realtor, 614-446-7305. I spoke to the realtor, Chanhom Garrett. She said the house is not for rent, only for sale.
She also said that other people have reported the phony listing to her.
