The caller was foreign and said he worked at Entergy and that our lights were about to be cut off if we didn't pay 1600 dollars.. I told him that we were not late and we didn't owe anything until 1/26/2024. He then told me that I needed to pay him with a cash app card.. That is when I knew it was a scam. I called the customer service for Entergy to make sure and the customer support and she assured me it was a scam..

I eecieved rhis text: "I am Mr. James Andrew from the Company ENERGINET. Your resume which you posted on ZipRecruiter has been reviewed and forwarded to our head dept.. Kindly reply back if interested!!"

They posted a fake job site on ZipRecruiter, then proceeded to text me SMS and said that they were hiring, and I filled the position, then proceeded to ask for more information.
