This person caroline janny of Myr!ad Inc. conducted an email interview with me and I accepted. The details: At first I was asked to download a chat app called Wire after this person found me on indeed and I told them I was unable to download the app. Having never conducted an interview in this unorthadoxed manner, I declined, and she followed up with an offer to do this over email, so I went along with the charade fully expecting this was a scam. I focused on answering things without giving information other than my full name and some questions related to my experience and goving a reference to my website link (as Im a freelancer). Several grammatical errors and questions involving asking my personal details (name, website, portfolio) continued and led to an outcome of her sending me a job offer which exceeded my expectations. It asked for my DOB, name, address, and phone number. And that I had to reply with my.name, date and I accept. I replied without giving this information, "if you need me to verify identity, I need you to very yours." I asked them to verify their details and company. The offer document was in a PDF document as an image (non fillable) form. That was my first hint they may not be real. The logo also mirrored another company of the same name I had history with so it sent a red flag. It was close, but had slight differences. Whether or not this was a legitimate offer and way of conducting interviews and employment offerings, it was still a red flag. I didnt accept the offer but said Ill consider it if they provide the information, phone number and contact information I requested. I also asked her to conduct a phone interview and contact. Ive not recieved any further contact with this "hr rep" named caroline janny spelled in all lower case. They wasted 2hrs of my time.
