I received a text or email, don't remember which, from a fake COSTCO (didn't know this at the time), which offered glass storage containers for price of shipping only (I should have known this was too good to be true). So, I made the order from my Costco credit card.

When I checked my current credit card statement, I noticed some charges I did not recognize, all from different vendors in different states and for different amounts. Long story short, the charges all originated from the initial $9.55 offer for storage containers totaling $293.87, with more charges to come. When I called the number attached to the initial charge they said I entered a sweepstakes (I never would) I requested refund and cancellation. I am sure there will be more "charges" so will have to be vigilant and possibly change my credit card number if the charges continue to appear. When speaking with a rep from my credit card company moments later the reversed charges had already appeared on my credit card account. So, lesson learned, if it seems too good to be true it most likely is!

I was informed I had won tupperware from Kroger if I just paid the shipping. Card was charged $8.99 and $13.95

I received a text message . This text did not specify what it was for when I opened it it said I won a free I-pad. If I paid shipping and handling ,which was $1 so being stupid I trusted it and went ahead abs put my card information. As soon as I did it pulled two different amonlun6s from my card. Which was not a $1 .it was $5 and then it pulled 15$ so from a dollar it turned into them stealing 20$ I'm sure if I wouldn't have locked my card it would have been more. I'm pissed . These people are in southeast Asia . I think they need a mass tort litigation.
