The site is using interesting tactics to defraud buyers. They advertise hundreds, or maybe thousands, of items to sell. The prices are 20-25% below market price, so look attractive but not very suspicious. I made a purchase on the site and paid using PayPal for it. The promised shipping was in 10-15 business days. I was pleasantly surprised to find notification from PayPal about merchandise shipped already in 5 days after the date of the purchase. I was surprised the second time when the USPS tracking number search suggested that the item was delivered yesterday. I didn't receive anything. So I contacted USPS. They figured that the item was sent to nonexistent address in my neighborhood, so the ZIP code matched my code. I contacted PayPal, but they declined the claim, because the "seller" provided them with this tracking number. Obviously the scammer knew it was enough to provide a number to PayPal to win the dispute. I researched further, turned out the whole site is "managed" by a single person, who is actually running the scam!

Had same experience. USPD federal agent informed me that the recipient address for the tracking number was not my address. So, apparently the scammer is finding tracking numbers in the same zip code. Since someone picked up the item associated with that particular tracking number, the outcome was that the item (associated with that tracking number) was delivered. The scammer then reports the tracking number to PayPal, who believes the item was delivered. (Would the Post Office lie?). I contacted PayPal who initially told me to get a letter from the Post Office stating I did not receive item. Went to our local (Marlborough CT) post office; clerk told me that item was picked up, therefore was delivered; therefore no scam (bright guy), no id required and the instant someone picks up an item, the slip is discarded. I had to call: 877-876-2455 option 3 to get the information that the recipient address was not my address. Perhaps it is worth a call. If you provide the tracking number and recipient address does not match your address (your shipping address is available to PayPal) you could appeal their decision not to reimburse you.
