MyLife.com Reports & Reviews (25)

- Hurricane, UT, USA • Feb 28, 2024

I got an email saying I had a low reputation score and there was a recent personal review about me. I was curious so I decided to sign up for a basic $1/month plan to look up my information and see what was reported under my name. Then I got a fraud alert from my credit card company saying they just billed me for $155+ also a new email saying "YOU'VE BEEN UPGRADED" which I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I looked at my credit card transactions and the $1 payment was there and I had already confirmed the $155 was fraud so the credit card company closed my account and sent me a new card.

As far as the $1 goes I RECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER ABOUT MYSELF. There was just a message saying no information was available and to try back in 30 minutes.

These people are scammers. They can keep the $1 paid since it taught me a lesson to NEVER deal with them again.

I signed up for a one-time information for $1 by mylife they also charged me $158 as well as the $1. So I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card which results in bank cancelling my card and I have to wait a week to get a replacement.

I received an email by MyLife.com. It said I had negative reviews about me. I paid for a subscription. There is nowhere to turn off the automatic subscription renewal. I tried calling them and the voicemail says to email them. When I send emails asking for my profile to be removed and to be refunded and cancel membership or to ask how to turn off automatic subscription they just email me back with promotional offers. I'm not sure how they have never been shut down. I have contacted my bank to dispute the charge and explained how I was unable to reach anyone from this company.

I have emailed this company on 3 different occasions requesting they remove any and all personal information from their website . this site claims to have a reputation profile in which in which some of the information is incorrect while other things are correct. I have aske to have family members removed, and to have all of my information removed from their site as they did not have any permission to post or release any information about myself or my family and friends. they have not responded these requests and their phone just tells you to email and no one answers. I am very upset and this is a huge violation of privacy rights.

They post an online profile with false information that makes someone feel like they have to set the record straight, which these scammers offer to do. But they're the ones generating and posting the false information along with all the other personal information they have stolen.

I have never contacted this business i have never made an account I DO NOT understand how they got my CC information I NEVER GAVE THEM MY INFORMATION OR ALLOW FOR A CHARGE

What can I say after hours dealing with MyLife from noticeable other charges on my credit card for something I didn't ask for. I noticed the charge on my online CC company earlier in the day. I called MylLfe to dispute the charges and to ask them to cancel my membership. After speaking and arguing with multiple people I finally was issued a refund, I know because I called my Customer Service line with my CC company and they told me that I did get the refund. However, later in the day I went back online to see my CC statement. Again, they charged me even though I canceled it earlier in the day. I called MyLIfe once more to dispute the charge and the rep insisted they had not charged me again even though I explained that the new charge was not a refund it was a charge, as I called the CC company when I noticed they again charged me and they informed me that it wasn't a refund but it was a new charge. I reported the incident to my CC company fraudulent dept and canceled the card, will see if I get a second refund, but what a hassle it's been!! I read on ScamPulse.com's page about MyLife reviews, and when I did it was the same complaints as mine. I mean the complaints were so numerous, page after page of abuse. Please ScamPulse.com do SOMETHING, ANYTHING to take down these scammers who run MY Life. They are truly 100% abusing the consumer by luring them in while they line their pockets!!

I received an email from MyLife saying that "Someone just saw my reputation profile." I went to the website mylife.com and typed in my name and sure enough - every bit of public information that has ever existed on the internet is published there. I called MyLife via the phone number at the bottom of the website and let them know that I never gave them permission to aggregate this information and publish it online and that I wanted it removed immediately. The woman tried to sell me a membership to allow them to track my public data and get it removed from other websites! TOTAL SCAM. I asked her to remove the information, but I believe she just made it so that it's not public. I'm going to give it a couple of days, and then look again and call back to have it permanently removed, as I originally requested.

I use the site to find out about a persons background before further dating and the site never pull up the person when you enter your credit card information instead the your info. is brought up. After contacting these people they act as though the phone is breaking up and never refunded my money.

Mylife has taken upon themselves to give a reputation score. Upon reviewing this website, which I had to pay to look at what information people were displaying on the web. This site is reporting inaccurate information about my court records. I have never been arrested and I have never been to court for any offense criminal or civil. I called the company to correct the issue and they said I should apologize. There was no type of resolution offered by the company nor did they change the wrong information that could be harmful to somebody's reputation. This site should be forced to remove any and all inaccurate information that may be harmful to a persons reputation.

This website states that they will give you your rating but what it does is provide personal information including your credit report, past addresses, previous names, and other personal information such as bankruptcies, Court problems Etc. It states that you can ask to be cleared and taken off of their mailing list, however in order to do so you must send a copy of your driver's license. This site violates any right to personal privacy and protection for your confidentiality. Instead, it makes it known to anyone your personal information. O one should be required to provide a photocopy of your driver's license, especially to a company known for providing your personal insurance and financial information on the web. The site violates personal privacy laws and needs to be removed from the internet.

The website posted false, inaccurate, and otherwise misleading information about me. I attempted to follow the steps on the website in order to manage my personal information but the site ran several scans (God only knows what was installed on my computer during the scans) it brought me to a page where I was asked to purchase a subscription. A couple of days later I tried to email them but was only sent an email referring me to a FAQ page which again recommends that I purchase an account in order to manage my information, limit who can see it, etc. Mylife operates on a mafia-style business model. The mafia would send out its thugs to harass people and then ask them to pay the mafia for protection against any further harassment. The information on mylife is defamatory and has likely already impacted my career and life in ways that I cannot even know. Of course, they add a caveat somewhere that they cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information but that's just a convenient cop out and shouldn't free them from legal liability. ScamPulse.com says that they will contact mylife but also recommends that I contact my local district attorney.

this site(MyLife.com) releases full detailed info about you and your loved ones, they are into much more as I learned while looking them up on here. They offer you the option to get it removed for the cost of 1.00USD. As I read off the information for customer support to find my information on the site since he said it doesn't show on his end he repeated it back to me wrong two times in a row, which then I ended the phone call. To everyone out there who isn't aware of this site and or respects privacy, I suggest you act upon this as well.

First, most of the information on this website is false.

Secondly, I signed up for the three day trial for $1. I read the fine print carefully and it said nothing about any additional charges. After the trial period, I was charged $54.95 for a "subscription" that I did not authorize. I called their customer service number, but they claimed they could not locate my account or find any information about my credit card that they had charged. They asked the last four of my credit card and expiration, then claimed they needed the first four of my credit card also, since they were unable to find it in their system. Needless to say, I did not give them the first four digits of my card. I had to report this charge as fraud to my credit card company, which they reversed.

Lastly, even after paying $1 for the three day trial period, I did not receive further access to any information and it all remained incorrect.

This site is a complete scam says you can get a full report for 3 days for a dollar when you wait for an hour for everything to download you do not receive nothing it only tells you the person's name that's you put in it does not reveal any information whatsoever

This website maliciously gathers personal information, regardless of accuracy, from public sources and compiles it neatly for bad actors to access - making it easier for them to act upon. Further, the company deceptively makes consumers believe that by paying, they (the customer) are now in control of their information when in actuality paying for the membership not only confirms personal information (phishing), but also enriches the company in the process. The company also makes it impossible to remove personal information from their site as the customer service number never connects you with a representative - you wait for over 30 minutes and then the system disconnects you.

- Washington, DC, USA

credit card scam, they published fake information about you, then ask money to remove it- they sign you up to a plan that renews itself which you cannot cancel. you cannot get in touch with anyone at their office or customer service number- they now have my credit card info and are publishing erroneous and personal information about myself !

- Port Saint Lucie, FL, USA

This website pulls ups information about you, and supposed family members and neighbors. It displays FALSE information and Inaccuracies and tries to charge you money to remove this information from their website. They do not remove the incorrect information. It is compiling FALSE and Inaccurate information that is an egregious attack on a persons reputation.

This website claims to have certain information regarding people. It falsely represented that I have a criminal record. This is not true and defamatory. This website needs to be shut down.

This website tells you there may be private information seen by others or negative reviews about you. It then prepares a report and asks you to pay to see it.
