MyIQ Worthless Problem-Solving Service Scam Reports & Reviews (2)

They keep trying to take money out of my bank account. I don't know what I'm going to do or how I'm going to stop it. I don't want to wait for another debit card. That too many times but I think I'm going to have to just a pain in the butt. I don't know, these people are all these people need to be stopped. All of me'd be wrangled up and dropped in a big hole in the mountain. Anyway, I gotta stop him somehow.

I came across an instagram ad for a company called myIQ (https://myiq.com/) which provided a service to take IQ tests and improve your IQ score with games and other problem solving puzzles. I decided to try out their IQ test and at the end they informed me to get a detailed report of my IQ score, I would need to sign up for a week trial with them for $1.00. I signed up for the trial using apple pay, using my apple cash card. I received two charges of $0.50 each. After a week passed, I received an alert that they attempted to charge me as the trial period was over. I then went to cancel my subscription, and used their chatbot option first. I followed the prompt, following their cancel subscription options via the chatbot, but they said they did not have any of my emails on file. I attempted again, and they said they would follow up via email with a specialized billing support agent. I received an email shortly after, claiming again that I had no account with them, and that I would not receive charges from them again in the future. I then received 6 more charges from them over the span of 3 weeks. In between these repeated unwanted charges, I would try contacting them via email and their chatbot, attempting to get a hold of their business. It became very apparent that all their "billing support" was actually AI bots as the same name for the agent was used over and over again and there was no consistency in their response, and they did not properly address my concerns. I contacted apple cash support for a phone number for the merchant that I could call, they provided, 415-236-3171, and the number is defunct. Between the defunct line, and the company ghosting me with no more responses coming from customer support after demanding I speak to a human and not a bot, I realized this was a fraudulent company. I had to dissolve my apple cash card, and get a new one in order to be able to use my apple cash again without $15 being stolen from me on a whim.
