I was calling HeartFord insurance to sign up as a new customer. About 30minutes later I pulled HeartFord on Google to make sure I was getting auto deduct. I clicked on what I thought was Heartford and I was speaking with someone from another country. They were asking for personal insurance and I was thinking that it was for auto deduct. They would put me on hold and informed me that if I would cancel it would be $56.00, and then they would put me on hold and then I would be put on hold again I was slammed again with some stating that I would be charged $28.00 dollars. I ended the call. I knew that I had been scammed I called my bank and cancelled my card, on 01/29/2023 I received something in the mail stating that I my membership has been activated.
