I’m so sad! I sent the scammer $1000 for a puppy, then they stated due to bad weather I had to give them an additional $2500, I asked for a refund and they stopped emailing me back. I just lost my hard earn cash.

The company assured me they would ship the dog after paying an initial deposit of $400. I was then told they could not transfer ownership without the rest of $300. Once I paid, the person contacted me pretending to be a shipping company. I refuse to send $2500 even though they say it will be returned in cash upon arrival. I should have realized what was going on after I couldn't find them on Zelle. He then asked if I would purchase visa giftcards. That is when I realized I had been scammed.
