I was looking for health insurance as I ended a contract with my former employer. My contract ended and I'm unemployed. I needed to get health insurance, so I was looking online. I filled out a quote on a website stating they can find affordable insurance. Someone called who I thought was legit. They set me up with a health plan and I gave them my address, name, and credit card information. The plan was through My Health Members portal. I have a Premier Health ODC+ and NextStep Health Value 2.0 plan. It is a month-to-month plan that can be cancelled anytime. I noticed something off after the transaction and set up was complete. What I bought was exactly what was discussed. I then did some digging and noticed it was a scam. I've contacted my credit card company and told them I was scammed.
