I was looking to buy a Golden Retriever and had gotten in contact with a company through their "contact us" section on their website. This lady named Trea Cohen got in contact with me later that day telling me how the process would work and gave me their address in case I was suspicious of anything. As stated on the website the puppy named Baron cost 450 and an extra 200 to fly the puppy out with a nanny. After looking into it and talking with my bank we agreed and began the process. I first paid 300 for reservation and delivery costs and would get the tracking information from the agency before paying the remainder of 350. She accepted payments through Zelle, but we did not do that because Zelle was down at that time. I was given different information for Zelle, which was Veronica Streeter with 205-721-5511. After many tries, we tried other companies like CashApp and Venmo, but there were issues on my side. The CashApp was also supposedly under her child and was $johnmastear. That's when she suggested using Walmart gift cards and that's what we used as a form of payment. We used my daughter's debit card. I first gave her 300 and once I got the tracking information from this so-called tracking agency named https://www.americananimalstravel.com We were supposed to receive the puppy the next morning at 11 and when we didn't I contacted her she said he was being held in Norman, Oklahoma. For him to be shipped within an hour they needed me to make a refundable life insurance payment of 950. I did not agree with this and told her it was completely irresponsible of her to not inform me of this beforehand. She accepted the fact that it was her fault and told me she would pay 450 and I only had to pay 500. I still did not agree and that is when she did not answer me again.
