My mom had to take an ambulance home from the hospital and I had paid the co-pay for the ambulance directly to the hospital ahead of time before the transport date. The hospital had already mailed me a receipt with no money due. Then, I got a phone voice mail a few days later, to go to their website to resolve the transportation matter. On their website they want you to enter the trip number and pay by connecting to your bank account or going to the nearest "money transfer center." This is a give away that it is a scammer praying on people who are sick. I did not pay myemsaccount.com or enter my info, but I wonder how they got my phone # if I paid the co-pay to the hospital ahead of time before the transport, so my info should not have been given to a collection agency.
