The scammer used my business cell phone number to call a client of mine, making it appear to be my business calling. It was not me or my business. The scammer was spoofing my number on their fraudulent call making it appear to be me. When she answered, it was a recording threating her with the RCMP and a warrant for her arrest, and that she was to call them at a 1-800 number they mentioned. She did not fall for the scam and instead she informed me of the fraudulent call. DO NOT FALL FOR THINGS THAT DO NOT SOUND RIGHT, HANG UP ON THEM IMMEDIATLY!
