Musicshop Reports & Reviews (8)

This ad has been popping up in facebook and instagram. Claiming to sell Gibson, Fender, and Taylor guitars (valued at $2,500 and up) for $40 dollars a piece. Apparently they will only accept credit.. and no item is shipped to people who have attempted to purchase.

I have included the website extension..

- West Covina, CA, USA

This page offers very expensive musical and audio gear at prices with discounts up to 90% off, totally fake, do NOT buy anything from here, the page is not that bad, and you can be fooled, but when you read descriptions of the products, or the payment policy, you can tell there is something going on. Report this page if you can

- Vassar, MI, USA

Following an advert on facebook which said music equipment is 50%-90% off at this website, I tried to buy something and was told the purchase didn't work, so I tried it again and it failed again.

However, I received email receipts and two charges showed up on my card statement.

I have tried contacting this company but it's obviously a scam.

Seems to me Facebook should be responsible for this.

Please check this looks like a money take away scam...expensive guitars are being sold for ***$ where real prices are ***$ or similar.

- Price, UT, USA

Beware of this website and probably many more by the same people claiming to provide musical equipment for very cheap prices. They are only collecting your credit card information to empty your account. They dont have any products to sell and the companies that make the products have never heard of them. Also under the website, Report them.

Saw an add on facebook for brand name musical instruments at very low prices. Attempted to buy one but my debit card was declined. I then attempted to look for an address or phone number to try a purchase that way. None was provided on the site. I immediately canceled my order fearing it was a scam. I did attempt to email them to provide the missing info but I received no response as of yet. They have info for 2 of my debit cards but so far no money has been charged to the cards. I intend to block payments when the business office opens

- Longview, TX, USA

This site is "selling" musical instruments at a fraction of the original price. They claim to use SSL to secure their website, but it is not secure. They also have a banner at the top saying their sale expires tomorrow. Yesterday the date said today. So, it's set to always expire the next day. There is no contact information, no address, no email, no phone number.

I am a musician, but am not a victim; I am simply reporting this in hope that this company does not have the opportunity to FIND victims. There is absolutely no chance that this company can procure musical instruments at the price they advertise, but I am sure that if they continue to operate, they will obtain credit card information from enough people to make the creation of a fake web site profitable. I generally buy any musical instruments on line from Sweetwater, a very reputable company, and sent an e-mail to the sales associate I deal with there; he said that his research indicated that this web site has only existed for 2 weeks, and that he could find no record of their being listed on any site he could find. I came across this site via Facebook, and I am also planning to pass this info along to Facebook as soon as I can determine how to do so. There is no contact info of any sort for this site other than the web site itself, or at least I could not find a telephone #, physical address, or e-mail address.
