I contacted the website in regards to purchasing a munchkin kitten. I was told the kitten was available and ready to be placed in a good home. I asked about adoption fees as well as shipping fees and was told that the total would be $850.00 including shipping and delivering to my doorstep. When I told them I was interested, I was asked to make the payment using Zelle and to send a screen shot as proof that the payment had been made. Once I did this, I was given a purchase contract to sign. I was told the kitten would be registered for shipping within a few hours. I then received a tracking number from them stating that the kitten had been registered to be shipped thru a company by the name of World Care Pets Transport. Within 15 minutes I received a text message from the vendor using phone number (406) 404-3387, stating that the delivery was now pending and that I needed to check the emails from the shipping company. When I did, the email mentioned that due to COVID and the kitten being under 18 weeks of age, they could not ship the kitten in the crate it was in and I needed to put a "refundable" deposit on a temperature regulated crate of my choice, ranging from $1250 - $2700. I was asked to make the deposit for the temperature regulated crate to the vendor. If I neglected to do so, I was threatened to be sued for pet abandonment. Once I told the vendor I could not pay the amount the shipping company was asking for the crate, I asked for a refund. The vendor told me to make contact with the shipping company and ask for the kitten to be sent back to the vendor. The shipping company replied to my email stating that they could not do that since they were acting in the best interest of the pet and they proceeded to threaten me of being sued for pet abandonment if I didn't pay for the crate. I texted the vendor and asked again for a refund, and I was told they could not process a refund since they could not get the kitten back.

I received emails from this person thru [email protected] and [email protected] and [email protected].
