I purchased a 2002 subaru forester off Facebook marketplace. I was told the car had a clean title and all it needed was brakes. After taking it to deq I found out it didn't pass deq because of oxygen and knock sensors. The 3rd time I drove it, the car broke down. After taking it to my mechanic he Informed me the engine wasn't properly bolted to the transmission. Only had 1 bolt holding the engine together. I also submitted for a title through dmv, where I found out this vehicle was a salvaged/reconstructed title.

When I attempted contact with the person I bought it from he stopped responding.

The document i was given said it was purchased at an auction and it was not bought from an auction.
