Multilingual Books advertised a "download version" of the 10-DVD set "Say it with Sign" (tv lessons in American Sign Language) reduced from $200 to $35 (plus $5 postage). What a deal! But instead of the advertised 5 volumes (or 5 tv seasons), I got only 5 lessons from the first volume only. There are, I believe, 40 lessons in the complete 5-season set. The company advertised "5 units" instead of 5 lessons. The ad clearly says "Ten DVD Program" and "You can buy 1 unit or 5 units for the full course." Clearly the ad says that the item is reduced from $200 (the approximate price for the full course) to $15, so I expected the full course. After a half dozen emails (the company answered only my last email), my $40 was refunded, but only after I asked for the advertised product (the full course) and said I'd contact the Better Business Bureau. I decided to contact you anyway. I was cheated - I got my original payment back, but not the promised product. The company says the advertised product costs $175 (in DVD form) and that I can purchase it from them. I will not pay $175 for this product from Multilingual Books after such dishonesty. And the ad still remains to scam other customers! I'd appreciate getting the product advertised if possible, or, at the very least, having the ad removed so others don't get scammed. What a hassle - a waste of time and effort - and the ad is still there! If need be, I can share my emails with you, and their email response.
