Our company, *** *** in Albuquerque, NM, was contacted via a request for pricing from our website. The scammer initially inquired on pricing for interior doors. This generated an email to us to which I replied in an attempt to deduce exactly what the customer wanted pricing on. He and I emailed back and forth a few times to settle on product options. Today I sent him the requested pricing. I received a response via email stating that the order would need to be sent to Guam and we were to contract with a specific logistics company to arrange for the freight. This smelled fishy to me so I called the number he provided to us in his initial request for pricing to make sure the customer wasn't hacked or being scammed by this freight company. After repeated calls it became obvious that he was an agent of this fake logistical company attempting to defraud us as a company.
